Good site preparation ensures that the ground you're building on is
prepared properly to support your structure. It also locates your structure
correctly for set-backs and other restrictions that may be in place
based on your HOA (Home Owners Association) deed restrictions.
Once the site is properly prepared, plumbing and other underground
/ through foundation utilities are installed prior to pouring the slab.
While there are a number of different foundation types in use around
the country, Slab On Grade is the most typical foundation type in use
in Florida for modern construction.
